Now I got it: configure did take the wrong lib-dir! It should have been=20
/opt/kde2/lib.=20
export KDEDIR=3D/opt/kde2 did the trick, it seems LICQ's aclocal.m4 only =
honors=20
the old KDEDIR, not the new KDEDIRS variable.
So aclocal.m4 should be extended to make use of KDEDIRS. I don't know eno=
ugh=20
m4 to do that right now. :-)

But after compiling with KDE-support, LICQ now crashes:

That's all, up to there. After that, the LICQ backend runs happily and lo=
