Work at SourceForge, help us to make it a better place! We have an immediate need for a Support Technician in our San Francisco or Denver office.
I can see that it is not supported right now, but would it even be possible to add support to play media from a MemoryStream created in C#? I need to play media that is stored in a database and would prefer to not copy the data into a temporary file. I don't know enough about the inner workings of "native <-> managed" to know if this is possible.
I am also intrested in doing the exact same thing, i have a bytestream coming of a proprietary usb device that i want to stream directly to libvlc.net
to stealthay : incase your quickly looking for a solution it is also possible to setup a pipestream in c# and open a networkstream with the following. stream://\\.\pipe\pipename
