As for libusb-0.1 API, it lacks the async I/O and there are a few minor points here and there. But it is simple and widely used. So it is probably not too bad after all. libusb-win32 adds the async I/O on top of libusb-0.1 API and so far we do not see libusb-1.0 Windows as a viable alternative to libusb-win32 yet due to the lack of formal release and some API deficiency under Windows. -- Xiaofan |
