#1 Can Not Load NURBS++ library.

HELP! HELP! HELP!

I am having a lot of trouble loading the nurbs++ 3.0.11
(675kb zipped) library on my system using MicroSoft
Development Studio 6.0 with C++ copmpiler.

1) When I follow the insructions shipped with the
disribution the software (uncompress config_mvc.bat ...)
and try to load the file AllTestS.dsp in...\ examples\vc6
\Alltests the project does not load I get an error that
aborts the development studio.

Loaded 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio\Common\MSDEV98\BIN\MSDEV.EXE', no
matching symbolic information found.
Loaded 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll', no matching
symbolic information found.
Loaded 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\kernel32.dll', no
matching symbolic information found.
Loaded 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\mfc42.dll', no
matching symbolic information found. .... from
debugger ...

2) If I try to load the files in projects indiviually with
MSDV I get a lot of C2143: syntax error : missing ';'
before '<' errors but I admit that I am not an
exepeienced C++ programmer and may not have all the
compile/link setting set correctly.

3) My OS is Windows XP-professional

Any suggestions or do you need additional info?
