Hi, I used the elem.contains_point() method to find if a point lies inside an element or not. For the following, I get true, which should otherwise be false. Node point1(0,0,0,0), point2(1,1,0,1), point3(1,1,1,2), point4(0,0,1,3); Quad4 quad; quad.set_node(0) = &point1; quad.set_node(1) = &point2; quad.set_node(2) = &point3; quad.set_node(3) = &point4; Point point(.5,0,.5); std::cout << quad.contains_point(point) << std::endl; Thanks Manav
