When trying to write exif information to a certain file, the exif commandline tool fails with the following error:

exif --ifd=EXIF --tag 0x9003 --set-value='2007:09:17 09:30:55' ../fspot_picture_files/P7090815.JPG
Not enough memory (ExifData):
Could not allocate -1729111406 byte(s).

This happens with libexif-0.6.16, but not with 0.6.13 in debian etch.
You can find the JPG file with problems at the above gnome bug report.

According to the bugzilla bug report follow-ups, it was fixed in libexif, and this probably in mid August last year already.
I am unable to reproduce it either.
