Hello all

Last week I was wondering what the issue was with my Marlin F145C2 on open suse 12.2
Frame rate was wrong whatever the format.

So I used Camwire2 to see how my camera would function.
At first  ... no success with the usual SDL option

Camera monitor

Found one camera.

Camera 1: Could not initialize camera.

Eventually got it to work using the compile option -d XV (still with Camwire2)

Back to Coriander : frame rate was still wrong.

Eventually went back to a 12.1 distro (kernel 3.1.10-1.16-desktop) recompiled libdc and coriander from gits/svn

Et Voilà !!! This time no error at all all works perfectly fine under coriander and the with the new stack e.g. no *1394 modules loaded.

I have another box on 12.2 and firewire; will try to get the Marlin working but it seems beyond my skills.
I can report if anyone has a suggestion I will be glad to help.
Cheers
Edouard
