there is a problem when loading default prefs on a big endian processor : the default pref file assume you are running on a little indian processor, so at startup, when it reads the file, the default number of profiles is not 1 but 0x1000000...

If you change the number in the file, it works all right, but I think you should use endian-independant functions to load the file....

(tested on MacOSX)

    There is a configure option --enable-ascii that makes Marbles
    use a plain text config which is supposed to make it work for
    big-endian boxes.
