When playing lbreakout2 on win32 it crashes pretty
often during network play. So far I've only seen it
crash in the snapshots play (not arena play). I also
see the following messages from the server when the
win32 client begins play of a level:
game 10: 192.168.1.2: state 1: invalid message 1c:
skipping 2 bytes
This spews out a bunch of times.
My configuration is as follows:
lbreakout2 2.5.1 binary downloaded from SF
lbreakout2 2.5.1 from Debian sid
lbreakout2server 2.5.1 from Debain sid
Debian sid box (kernel 2.6, libc with NPTL)
lbreakout2 game and server running on same box
I'm running lbreakout2 between the boxes with a 100
Mbps crossover cable.
