No

Special characters like accent are not displayed properly in the laTeX templates.
The strings involved by this bug are only the one comming from a database query or the traduction files.
Accentuated characters written directly in the templates are well displayed.

    Have you tested xelatex ?
    New in 1.2.6 (http://ledgersmb.org/node/468557)

Install xelatex and go to :

System -> System Defaults -> Templates directory

--- you also need to change a path --
    From the mailing list:

Right now, I am open to suggestions on a better approach, as the
Template::Latex api's don't seem to work to do this, but I resorted to
changing the paths in LaTeX::Driver::Paths directly (find the location
with locate LaTeX/Driver/Paths.pm). This file gets written at
installation time for the LaTeX::Driver module and so I consider it
    reasonably editable.

    Best Wishes,
    Chris Travers

hasorli, having been working with Philippe on this, I believe this is happening in xelatex, but only with accents in certain portions of templates. As I understand it, it happens with accents in product names and descriptions, which suggests possibly something wrong on the output side somewhere. I have an idea as to what the problem is, but need to test it.
