Hi, I have 2 small questions. 1 In the manual on chapter development under "Building a LEAF package from the compiled source the following commands are advised for creating an LRP-package: tar -c * | gzip -9 > package.lrp However when following this advice in a directory containing the directories etc. lib and var the result is an archive in which package.lrp is included. My solution was: tar -c package/* | gzip -9 package.lrp. 2. This works. However, when I untar a package (e.g. modules.lrp) and repack it with that method the package is ~ 5k larger than the original one. Can anybody give me a clue? (It is done on an AMD64 running FC5). Thanks Joep |
