Add a board configuration for HTML Auth modes. Three
options (Form, Mixed, and HTML). Each mode will
change how the user logs on.
In Form mode; the system will not pay any attention to
HTML authentication, and will require the user to enter
there user name and password via the classic phpBB
logon screen
in Mixed mode; the system will act just like it does
today, If the system sees that HTML Auth has taken
place it will use that, otherwise use the classic phpBB
form logon
in HTML mode; the system will only except HTML Auth,
if the user is not authenticated vie HTML already (i.e.
NTLM) then it will request an HTML auth from the
client. The classic phpBB logon screen will not be
available.
I would be possible to make the form logon available if
they click cancel or enter an incorrect logon. Maybe we
will make it an option to have them enter the form logon
if they click cancel. I have seen some clients have
problems with HTML auth. (Mostly on PC that are not
properly maintained, and/or going thought a proxy
service).
