#35 DocBook code does not validate with xmlto>=0.0.22

xmlto since 0.0.22 calls xmllint with the --noent parameter to validate the XML. This will make problems in the docbook code apparant that have been hidden before.

There's a workaround to skip validation as seen here: http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/rpms/lcdproc/devel/lcdproc-0.5.2-novalidate.patch?revision=1.1&view=markup

Alternative, the XML errors could be fixed but I have not the necessary knowlegde of docbook to fix those errors:

    I confirm that several errors in the docbook code have not been detected previously. I am currently working on fixing them.

    I found that the fixed developer guide does validate according to Docbook DTD but produces invalid (x)html code. I am currently looking for ways to implement this correctly. The user guide already is fine.
