I downloaded your Launch4J version 3.0.2 to package up my java program. After creating the executable in Windows 7 and try to launch it, I get: this error message: The application failed to start because its side-by-side configuation is incorrect.
Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to wait for a new version release of Launch4J before I can package up my jar file properly?
I also got this problem. I am not sure if it is to do with declaring the exe parameters more than once. I have a manifest file that I use when the program is compiled. I then also declared a manifest file in Launch4J and also maybe the main class in the Classpath panel. When I remove the other manifest declarations in the Launch4J script and re-created the exe, it ran OK. So maybe try to remove everything from the script first and only add what is missing.
