#2 Vhost configuration takes over normal (default) site

I discovered that the current configuration changes
under Mandriva 2005 LE makes your default site "dissapear".

No matter where you go, the sample.pm module text is
displayed in the browser.

    I added the following virtual domain config:

    <VirtualHost *:80>
    # Virtual host definition
    DocumentRoot /var/www/html
    ServerName localhost.localdomain
    </VirtualHost>

    You also need to add the following line to /etc/hosts:

    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain

    You may also need to update your other hosts files (if used
    on other computers).

    Restart Apache.

    Your old site can now once again be viewed by entering the
    following in the URL bar:

    http://localhost.localdomain/
