I was able to compile LAME with MS C++ compiler Version 14.00.50215.44. Seems we will have to update compile switches for this compiler, they have changed a bit since earlier versions. I noticed an anomalie with this compile, the --noasm mmx run was a few percent faster than with mmx asm code allowed. This behaviour is something I never saw before. (running on Athlon XP 1700, WinXP) Ciao Robert |
