When editing an already published post, the code snippet box resizes to the first blank line in the posted code, leaving all following code as part of the main post (excluding it from the code formatting). This is happening for MATLAB code, untested for other languages.

Alex, what browser are you using by the way? And if it's IE, which version?

We just had a look at one of the HALO entries and did an Edit (without save of course!) to see what happens.

Looks like upon edit, the matlab code stops being formatted correctly by the first blank line.

Tim: I believe various fixes I have made to this functionality should have fixed this issue. Can you test to confirm this is OK on Internet Explorer.

Sorry Dave, it seems even worse than before on IE to me.
I can't seem to paste text that does not get re-formatted
to html tags upon view and then back to pasted text upon save.

May need your help to re-create the test case :-(

Went through this with Dave and it now seems to work on IE.
The HTML tagging issue is when I cut and pasted direct from a LabTrove window rather than a text file.
The outstanding prob is that if you type into a code block on IE then Return starts a new code block. You need Shift+Return to get a new line. This doesn't happen on Firefox/Chrome.
