countour plot linewidth

    Hallo,
    I didn't find a way to adjust the linewidth of the contour lines for contour plots. Is this somewhere provided?

    another question:
    I want to plot paths in an energy landscape. i would use an overlay of a 2d contourplot and a 2d plot. is this the way to do or does there exist a better one?
