I've experienced some problems while using file
transfer:

- The file selection box appears with the filter '*.*'.
This mean that only files with a '.' in the name will
appear. For unix machines the proper filter would be
'*'.

- When sending a big file (600MB thru local net), the
cpu load went to the stars and after 16% of file
transferred, kxicq2 crashed.

- Kxicq2 couldn't send file to some users using icq for
windows. I suppose those users were behind a
masquerading router.

    i have similar problems here...
i have the latest cvs, and i cannot receive from nor can i send any
    files to a windows-icq user.
the win-user is not behind any firewall, and uses the latest version
    of icq for win.
same problem here regarding the "*.*"
