Hey, I tried installing the debian packages for gpsim/ktechlab on debian/stable (sarge), but that failed due to dependency errors. I am under the impression that these packages have been compiled on debian/unstable (or perhaps testing?) since they depend on libgcc4, while only gcc 3.3 is in stable/sarge. --force-depends doesn't really help, the package installs and runs, but gpsim does not function properly. The debian/sarge ktechlab package was compiled on debian/sarge, and the debian/sarge gpsim & gtk-extra packages were compiled in ubuntu/hoary (both using gcc 3.3). What dependency errors did dpkg give?
