#11 ktechlab crashes after update

After update from ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 ktechlab crashes when a part is added.

My system (ktechlab -v):

Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.10
KTechlab: 0.3

  • here it crashes to every time i add a device (exept logic devices, connections and integrated circuits)

    Running ktechlab on a Gentoo and building ktechlab from sources using the patch from http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=239330

    bevore using the patch i cant compile it.

    Are you using the 64 bit version? There were issues, but hopefully they were fixed in the development version (aka svn).

     
  • yes im using the 64bit version ... so you think upgrading to the current svn version would help?

  • hmm ok i forget that my laptop iss x86 and my desktop iss an amd64 ... (it wont run on both machines correctly)

    no i tested the svn-version on my notebook.

    it wont compile.

    configure seems to be correctly done (no errors and so)

    the compile process ends up with:

    There haven't been any crashes reported for a long time (in the new stable branch). Please comment, if you still have got problems using the 0.3.7 release (going to be released soon), then I will reopen this bug.
