At least for me, when I run the command line ksar command (i.e. no X windows) ksar still divorces itself from my terminal it seems. In other words I cannot terminate it bia Ctrl C, Ctrl D or any other keyboard signal. And it stays alive after it completes. So it just hangs out in the process table, even if I logout. I suspect this behavior is related to how it must set itsefl up under X, but it is not helpful in command mode.
