Hello, Dom :) First of all, I've had a chance to use Krename quite extensively since the release of 2.7.1, and the improvements to the GUI are very nice :) But I do have two suggestions about the screen that comes up when I click on "Filename." One of those two suggestions MIGHT be a bug report. 1. After I have added the files that I want to rename, and then click on "Filename", the screen that comes up has three buttons (in this exact order): "Numbering", "Find and Replace" and "Insert Part of Filename" My request would be that the order be changed so that "Find and Replace" would be the first button instead of the second. This isn't exactly of earth shattering importance, but, if possible, it would be nice to have the button that I use the most be the first button instead of the second or the third button. 2. First of all, I really like the new button that appears on the row right next to the "Template:" box. It looks a lot nicer the way that you have it now. But, for the sake of clarity, I will describe the problem I think I see in a step by step fashion: 1. Lets assume the filename is "EquippingTheSaints_NEWa.sxi" and I want to make that name all lower case. By default, the template "$", which I understand signifies "old filename" appears in the box to the right of "Template:" 2. To make the filename all lowercase, I click on the "? Functions" button, and choose "%" and then click the "Add" button. 3. The result, in the "Template:" box is this: "$%" Which, of course, results in this filename: "EquippingTheSaints_NEWaequippingthesaints_newa.sxi" 4. If I simply delete the "$" template, leaving the "%" template (which is the one I want), then the name in the "Renamed" column displays thusly: "equippingthesaints_newa.sxi", which is exactly what I want. Just to make sure I made myself clear, (English is my native, and only, language, but sometimes I have a disturbing lack of ability expressing myself clearly while using it) it seems to me that the desired behavior, after clicking the "Add" button in the "Functions" dialog, would be that the template that I (or whoever) chooses, would completely replace the default template. I know for a fact, that if that were the case, that the filename wouldn't be doubled like it is in the above reported example, because when I manually delete the default template, the filename becomes exactly what I want it to be. If you have any questions for me on this, or if I didn't make myself clear, please feel free to ask me for clarification :) As always, it's a pleasure to be of help to you and everyone else who is involved with this project:) Steven P.
