Noam, at my request, took a look at the trunk recently and didn't think the changes were too significant, with regards to complexity and potential of breaking something. However, at this point we have some merging work to do. Michael: With regards to the order of releases, I understand that there may be fixes you need. By all means, get your fixes in. As v3.02 was never really released (no sourceforge, no announcements), why don't you get your fixes into that release? We need to make a go or no-go decision on the trunk as soon as possible. By this, I mean as a group and individually we need to closely review what's there and decide what gets into the next release. At the same time, we can decide what to name the version. The version numbering convention is pretty simple: To the left of the decimal is subjective. To the right, is simply an enumeration of the releases within that subjective integer. (The assumption has been that there will never be more than 100 releases for a major revision.) If the features on the trunk warrant bumping up to Krang v4, let's talk about that. -Jesse- |
