Operating System:win32
Python Version:2.2.3 (#42, May 30 2003, 18:12:08) [MSC 32 bit (Intel)]
PyQt Version:3.2.0
State Information:
REGEX:';?\s*(?P<ident1>[_\$a-zA-Z0-9]+)\s*\(?.+;'
Match String:'Rmv_fail$; ! Remove any indications of a failure'
Problem Description:
First the accolades: Wonderful program! Thanks for sharing it!
Now my observation: The 'ident1' group doesn't contain the trailing '$' character for 'Rmv_fail$' as I would expect. Perhaps I am doing something dumb but my Python program code that uses the above REGEX does include the expected '$'. Adding a space after the '$' in 'Rmv_fail$' will include the '$' in the 'ident1' group. It appears to be a trailing issue. Embedding the '$' elsewhere in the search string works as expected.

Thanks again for such a useful tool!

Oops! Short between the headset! I discovered the problem is mine. KODOS is working the same as my program code but I don't know how to fix the REGEX to get what I want - but that is my problem.

Thanks for letting me bend your ear!
