Version 0.9.2.0 Beta Released

Here is version 0.9.2.0 of the KlassModeler. This is still a beta release, with 2 new features and 2 bug fixes from the last release. The features are to help you manage your class documentation. Tool tip popup windows provide you a simpler means to get documentation without having to open up the class dialog. And new colour coding will show you easily which classes are missing docs or have outdated docs (don't worry, you can turn the colours off).... read more

Version 0.9.1.0 Beta Released

HTML Documentation Generation is back! I'm pleased to announce I've put that very handy feature back into this release. I've also added an option to have the KlassModeler check a web page for any updates. This feature is off by default, but if you decide to turn it on it could help you keep up to date of when new releases come out.

For those of you interested in compiling the KlassModeler from source on Linux, I've made this much simpler by including makefiles. Check out the source distribution and let me know what you think.... read more

Version 0.9.0.2 Beta Released

This is the first Beta release of the new KlassModeler. This release is functionally the same as the Alpha release, however for this release I'm happy to announce that there are no known bugs. I imagine there are a fair number of unknown bugs. Please download it and try it out and post any feedback to the forum here in this Source Forge project page.

Going forward I will be releasing beta versions as I add the remaining features. Any ideas or input is also welcome.... read more

Version 0.9.0.1 Alpha Released

I'm thrilled to announce that the first alpha version of the new KlassModeler is ready for download. This version sports a whole new interface from the original KlassModeler, with a focus on ease of use and being able to do more with less mouse clicks. It can read in old KlassModeler files, so please feel free to download it and try it out.

As an alpha release you should bear in mind that is still has some rough spots. Also it does not support all of the features of the original KlassModeler. Specifically the HTML doc generation and printing support have not been put back in yet. Those will follow soon.... read more

Rebirth of the KlassModeler

The KlassModeler has been around for about 5 years now though it hasn't been updated in 4 or so. The existing version is truly showing its age. So this SourceForge project has been created as a space to foster a more mature development of the project. This time around there will be a greater concentration on usability and on creating a package that many people will find enjoyable to use.

The re-write has already begun and the groundwork is being laid for many of the UI features that will make the KlassModeler more straightforward to use. A release will be coming as soon as the basic functionality is in place.
