I am curious how and why mwhtmldumper.js is the preferred way to go.
Is it faster?
Thanks for clarifying
You seem to have CSS turned off.

I have renamed the tool "mwoffliner". Yes, mwoffliner is a lot easier/faster to use than creating a local mirror and them dumping from the console using the PHP HTMLDumper extension.
could you maybe give a small example how I would use mwoffline to actually dump pages from a wikipedia dump?
Are there any issues or incompatibilities compared to the old way of rendering the html pages?
Both mwoffliner and zimwriterfs have now a README file. mwoffliner has nothing to do with XML/SQL dumps provided at download.wikimedia.org
New generated ZIM files still have a few "problems" (will be fixed ASAP).
Not category pages
Problems with audio/video datei
* Still a few limitations du to some extensions (mostly on projects like Wikisource)
