Hi, running KileVersion 2.9.60 Using KDE Development Platform 4.7.4 (4.7.4) compiled from git master branch as of today. System Check is all pass except for acroread (not installed) I have a project with one master .tex file and 5 \include{*.tex}. When using PdfLatex, it compiles (0 errors, 18 warnings, 37 badboxes). But when I change something on the document with live preview active, I get a [LivePreviewPDFLaTeX] file.tex => file.pdf (pdflatex) [LivePreviewPDFLaTeX] finished with exit code 1 In the "Output window" I can find ############# ***** ***** LivePreviewPDFLaTeX output: ***** cd "/home/user/Documents/kileproject" ***** pdflatex -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode -output-directory=/home/user/kile-livepreview/.kde/share/apps/kile/livepreview/preview-4psJpV/ file.tex ***** This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.11 (TeX Live 2010) restricted \write18 enabled. Or what might be the problem here? And slightly related question: In case livepreview does not work with \include, is there a way of opening an arbitrary pdf file in the okular panel on the right normally used for livepreview? (My pdf updated only if I manually run pdflatex?) |

In theory it should work... ;) Can you may send me all of your project files? (You can remove the real text. I just need some dummy text and the overall project structure) > And slightly related question: In case livepreview does not work with > \include, is there a way of opening an arbitrary pdf file in the okular > panel on the right normally used for livepreview? If you reset the tools, you will find that all the viewer tools now offer a configuration 'Document Viewer', which uses the embedded Okular viewer to display documents. Michel |

I have sent the problematic project to Michel Ludwig and he could reproduce the error. According to him it is related to the folder structure within the project folder and a fix should be released soon. In case anyone reading this list is wondering if this was resolved. :) > If you reset the tools, you will find that all the viewer tools now offer a > configuration 'Document Viewer', which uses the embedded Okular viewer to > display documents. > After deactivating livepreview, clicking "ViewPDF" opens the pdf in the okular panel on the right. So this is working. Mogliii |
