When I try and run the wizard kile crashes with a segmentation fault.
However, it doesn't for root. How do I fix this pls?

Okay there is no file accessing in that Class, so this shouldn't be the
Do you get a Backtrace from KCrashhandler ?
That would be quite useful.
You can also try if it is because of an "somehow" strange config file.
Move your config from ~/.kde/share/config/kilerc to
~/.kde/share/config/kilerc.backup. (So you can restore your Config :) )
And when you now start kile, it creates a file with default settings.
Does your error still occur ?
