I tried to compile kile 1.7.1 but it stops with an error message
Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (library qt-mt) not found.
I have MDK 10.0 AMD64.
What should I do?
You should install the development packages of Qt and KDE (perhaps also X). This should be easy using the Mandrake package management.
Sometimes you also have to give special parameters to the configure script, like this:
./configure --prefix=/path/to/kde --with-qt-dir=/path/to/qt
