When placing an outbound call to a regular PSTN style number I always get the following error on the Asterisk server:
NOTICE: chan_iax2.c:6687 socket_read: Rejected connect attempt from XX.XX.XXX.XXX, who was trying to reach '88801234@'
The client authenticates to the server just fine so what am I doing wrong? Why is there an "@" after the number?
hmm can you, please, paste the log from the beginning (registration) until the end (error)?
This looks to me like an Asterisk dialplan problem. Your KIAX is not in a context that is allowed to place such outbound calls.
