Localise the graphical interface in French. Andrew gave the following instructions in the list:

[cite]
Fantastic - I've created and checked in the fr_FR files into:

net.sf.kernow.i18n

Each files corresponds a dialog - if you expand the entry you should
see default, de_DE and fr_FR versions.

As I explained to Michael off-list, you need to edit the value of the
name value pair, eg

Exit=Exit

should be:

Exit=Sortie

(if that's correct :)

You should be able to test the files just by running Kernow (if the
locale is set to fr_FR on your JVM), if not you can be explicit by
adding the system properties:

-Duser.language=fr -Duser.country=FR

    I have just commited 6 out of the 8 property files for French. Unfortunately, I cannot switch the language with:

    -Duser.language=fr -Duser.country=FR

    Any idea?

    If I go to properties -> Run add set the system properties in the "VM Options":

    -Duser.country=FR -Duser.language=fr

    ...then it works for me.

    (You shouldn't have to though, if your XP settings are set for your location the JVM should pick the settings up from there - (Region And Language Settings in Control Panel))
