To launch an URL or application you have you have to click the URL button and then the Auto-type button.
It would be nice to have in the menu a new Launch Icon which make it possible to Launch the URL or CMD and execution of the Auto-Type sequence by a single click.
I had many experiments with the KeeForm/KeeRun utility but I think it would be nicer to embed that these functionality will be build native in Keepass.
The cons of KeeRun are that you have to enter all the auto-type sequences into the URL field.

Auto-Type doesn't know when a page has finished loading and is ready for input. For a completely automatic login, an extension like KeeForm/KeeRun is required.

    Best regards,

    Hello Dominik,
Thanks for your answer. I understand that Auto-Type cannot recognize a completion, but I don't understand why it should not be possible to build this functioality into KeePass.

How is it possible that other passwordmanagers such as LastPass and 1 Pasword are able to launch an URL with Username and Password?

    Best regards
    Willem

KeePass is not designed to understand any Windows program, so it then works with all programs that accept keystrokes. This was a design decision made before KeePass was created.
Personally I think you are much safer with a password manager that doesn't automatically fill in your login details, then no-one can use your sites when you pop out for a drink.

    cheers, Paul
