Need a feature where fields in entries can be linked together. The references feature does not work for me. I would like to be able to create several entries, and link fields from these entries together. Fx.: I have en user name and password for a website. These same information, is also used in a program or a game etc. So if I have a structure where I have a group named Web sites and a group named games or programs, I would have to entries, that would need the same information. If it where possible to link fileds to other entries, so that no matter which entry was changed, all the other linked fields would also be changed. The reference feature also does not show the the info pulled from another entry. Only the reference code. The link feature should show the information entered in the field 1:1. The link feature could be a button next the fileds, where you, from a pop-up window, could search and select which entries it should link to.

Field references exist precisely for this. I don't see why you couldn't use them in your example.

By the way, if you wish to quickly locate the source entry (from which a reference pulls the data), select the entry in the main window and click the reference link in the entry view.

    Best regards,

    Hi Dominik

Thankz for the reply. I'm not sure we are talking about the same. Or maybe I just don't understand the function properly. If I have three entries, and I wish that these three entries share the same password, yes, then I can use the field reference function. But I have to insert data in the password field in one of the entries, and the reference to this. This means that if I open the two entries that pull data from the one containing the data, will only show the reference code. Not the password. I can't see the data either in the entry view. What I want is, a possibility of linking the three entries together by the password field, and be able to both see and change the data, no matter what entry I choose.
