KeePass does handles files for storage/encyption, but the focus is clearly still on passwords. Perhaps a dedicated object type for files (Add File), so they are not an attachement, but as the actual object? I think folks view KeePass as a great encryption tool, and see the possibility of extending its functionality to more than passwords.
Maybe provide drag and drop support for adding or accessing files?
I view using it as a "dropbox" like solution for this. This provides trusted "container" encyption for users who may choose to store the file in a less-trusted area. I trust my keepass security when stored in the cloud.
The arguement can easily be made to use another tool focused on this feature (TrueCrypt), but the convenience is lacking then. There are 2 passwords to rely on (even if they match)
