Domain Windows user to protect database

    Hey guys,

I'm referring to this thread: http://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/329221/thread/8113cfb2.

When I look up the documentation at the KP website, it insinuates having a domain account makes this a very useful option. They explain home users should be careful using this option since re-creating the account won't do the trick. However, I'm using KeyPass in a domain environment and the SID is the same on all computers (I even checked to be sure). Still the database made at pc 1 refuses to open at pc 2 and vice versa.

This made me wonder: if home users should avoid the option and domain users can't use the option, who should be using it??

    Am I overlooking something :)?

Unless you have a roaming profile this will not work on a domain.
Better to use one of the certificate provider plug-ins.
