is keepass > 2.18 on ubuntu already in the ubuntu repositories?
I only get 2.18?
ubuntu does not update to new feature versions for stability reasons. 2.20.1 will only go into ubuntu 13.04.
You can get 2.20.1 for older ubuntus from my ppa:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:jtaylor/keepass
and when I'm certain its reasonably stable it will be added to the official backports repository which contains new versions of software. Probably this will happen in a week or two.
@jtaylor108 and @averlon
Could you guys recommend a Ubuntu flavor that I could use with with the 2.20.1 version you mention?
I'd like to move my online banking to Keepass v2 on Linux booted from a USB stick (the smaller the better).
I posted this last week, but I've had little reaction from it, and I'm stuck to find mono that will work with Puppy Linux.
Any advice you could give would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
