    When using autotype, I like for it to run when the login page loads without me having to place the cursor. Unfortunately, this usually requires an autotype sequence like:

    {TAB 22}{USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}

    And if the site ever changes (and they do surprisingly often), I have to edit the {TAB 22} in my autotype.

    Is there a control code of some kind to advance to the first editable field on a form?

    Thanks.

    No. The Auto-type requirement is for you to manually place the cursor in the first required entry field.
    Note: The site designer can choose to start with the cursor in the required field.

    cheers, Paul

    KeePass does not integrate with the browser so it can not tell where the webpage puts the cursor when a page loads. If you desire that functionality you can use a form filler plugin that integrates with the browser.
