    i am using KP 2.21
how can i control KP from e.g. batch script to open the url and perform auto-type

    i used
    KeePassProfessionalEditionLKL.exe -uuid:57EC224EE90FCA479CA52A625D00FAA5 -entry-url-open
    sleep 10
    KeePassProfessionalEditionLKL.exe -auto-type(-selected)

KP just open firefox with the url (http://keepass.info/help/kb/testform.html) but auto-type is not performed. how can i achieve that?

For -auto-type to work there has to be an entry in the open KeePass database that will match the active Window Title. (It works the same way as if you were to press the Global Auto Type Key, If KeePass finds a matching entry it types into the active Window)

For -auto-type-selected to work, an entry must first be selected by the user. This can't be done on the command line because -uuid: switch does not select an entry.

As an aside, I don't recognize the name of the executable "KeePassProfessionalEditionLKL.exe". Did you install KeePass from the official source http://keepass.info/download.html?

i forgot to mention that it works fine with Global Auto Type Key.

THANKS for the hint with the exe.

i use keepass within LiberKey. when i use KeePass.exe instead of KeePassProfessionalEditionLKL.exe then it works ok.

Liberkey looks like an odd thing with very little information on the site. Its download of KeePass is several versions behind and the words "priority update" appear on the web page with no qualification as to the meaning - KeePass doesn't have any "priority updates", all versions are secure.
