I just switched from KeePass 1.xx to 2.26 today and imported the database. The 1.xx version correctly said one of my entries was expiring soon (it expires tomorrow). 2.26 does not say this even though the "Show entries that will expire soon if any)" option is checked. Thinking it might have something to do with the import, I created a new entry in the 2.26 database and set it to expire tomorrow. Upon closing and re-opening the database there was no warning of upcoming expiration.
There is no prominent warning. The 'soon to expire entries' are presented as the initial view without comment or emphasis.
I see. Why is it telling me about expired entries in the Recycled Bin? Shouldn't it just be for current entries?
I suppose for completeness, and to give the user a second chance at finding an accidentally deleted soon to expire entry. A user can permanently delete any entry that appears in the results.
