Hello all - So, I've been thinking about the security of data on mobile devices and I wonder how people implement keyfiles on devices such as smartphones. With a laptop, one can put a keyfile on a USB stick and use it in conjunction with a strong password and be fairly confident their passwords won't be compromised. However, on a device such as an Android or iPhone, that isn't the case. It would seem to me that the best method would be to have a strong password and then a keyfile somewhere on the Internet and if the device is stolen or lost, simply remove the keyfile from the Internet to avoid the data being compromised. Since I don't do this for a living, am I on the right track? What do others do to keep their mobile data secure?
