I just purchased a Chromebox. Is there a way to get KeePass to work on it?
I've tried using a USB stick with both the KeePass program and the kdbx database on it, but it will not open. I can't find anything in the ChromeWebStore that looks like it will help.
How can I do it?
The official KeePass programs will not run on Chrome OS.
However, there is http://techualization.blogspot.com/2013/12/browsepass-as-chrome-app.html
I haven't actually tried it myself, so I can't offer any opinions, but I just thought I would throw it out there.
Tried it, but it didn't work on the Chromebox or in the Chrome browser on my W8 machine. Even if it did work, the read-only limitation is a killer if you want to change passwords regularly.
