    Hi,

I don’t get it. I tested the quality of some passwords with the Password Generator.
Why does a password like dIOkLOII7&% have 58 bits and the repetition two times separated with an ! and “ only 88 bits (dIOkLOII7&%!dIOkLOII7&%"dIOkLOII7&%).

I mean that ought to be impossible to find out (brute forces,…). Nobody knows where I did the repetition.

Even a short sequence separated with some characters like MyHouse!MyHouse=MyHouse)MyHouse%MyHouse2MyHouse should be unbreakable but only has 95 bits.

If I’m wrong, please explain it to me!

    Thanks

Repetition lowers the quality estimate even though it may not lower the password quality.
