When using kdiff3 0.9.95 to merge, the newly created file does not save the group/everyone permissions.

I am working in GIT, and merging a file from different branches.

For example the file is script1 with 777 permissions, after the merge the permissions are 766.

It appears that everytime the execute bit is unset for group/everyone on the resulting file.

I am seeing this too, in 0.9.97. It keeps reverting permissions and breaking things when merging. See http://bz.selenic.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4170
