When reading KAddressbook (via KDE-Sync), pictures of
the people in the address book are correctly read. They
are also displayed correctly in KA/Pi. However, when
changes are made and the data is saved in KA/Pi, all
images are stripped from the file. This "change" is
synced back to KDE and other devices in later syncs.
Since the images remain visible in the application
until it is restarted, the user does not even see the
Since KA/Pi seems to use the same save functions when
syncing, pictures are also lost when syncing several
KA/Pi machines. Again, since the images are transmitted
and displayed first and lost later when saving the
data, the loss cannot immediately be detected by the user.
