Hi everyone, I have committed changes to Kdenlive for the timeline roll edit. Find info on the roll edit here. http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.asp?p=99846&redir=1 I added a very bad icon to the toolbar. I'll update this later. You can also select this tool with the 'R' hotkey. Changes made by this tool have been added to the undo command. Please test this tool and let me know if you have any suggestions, find any bugs, etc.. cheers, rob |

hi, I really would like to test this tool, but there seems to be still a problem left, since the green light at the right side of the 'move to end of clip' button is turned off, so piave seems to be not connected which caused a 'unknown' duration when I load a clip to the project list. btw - playing back this clip using the pplay utility works 'relative' fine: (Don't know if the problem above is caused by the error message below.) [booker@localhost utils]$ ./pplay /mnt/win_d/capture/kino/capturerawtest002.dv /mnt/win_d/capture/kino/capturerawtest002.dv:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found Any help is greatly appreciated. greetings reinhard On Sunday 31 October 2004 02:35, Rob Hare wrote: > Hi everyone, > > I have committed changes to Kdenlive for the timeline roll edit. > > Find info on the roll edit here. > http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.asp?p=99846&redir=1 > > I added a very bad icon to the toolbar. hi, yes I did. The default port was already set to 6100 and piave is located in /usr/bin/. But I got it to work since I changed the path to the original cvs-location (~/cvs/piave/piave/piave on my machine). So finally I was able to load clips on the timeline and move the edit between this two clips left/right, but when I start timeline-play back only the first clip is played to his end. greetings reinhard On Wednesday 10 November 2004 00:56, Rob Hare wrote: > Hi Reinhard, > > Did you check your kdenlive settings? > settings->kdenlive setup > make sure your piave path is correct. > port: 6100 > > cheers, > > Rob > > reinhard wrote: > >hi, > > > >I really would like to test this tool, but there seems to be still a > > problem left, since the green light at the right side of the 'move to end > > of clip' button is turned off, so piave seems to be not connected which > > caused a 'unknown' duration when I load a clip to the project list. > > > >btw - playing back this clip using the pplay utility works 'relative' > > fine: (Don't know if the problem above is caused by the error message > > below.) > > > >[booker@localhost utils]$ ./pplay > > /mnt/win_d/capture/kino/capturerawtest002.dv > > /mnt/win_d/capture/kino/capturerawtest002.dv:1: parser error : Start tag > > expected, '<' not found > > > >Any help is greatly appreciated. > > > >greetings > >reinhard > > > >On Sunday 31 October 2004 02:35, Rob Hare wrote: > >>Hi everyone, > >> > >>I have committed changes to Kdenlive for the timeline roll edit. > >> > >>Find info on the roll edit here. > >>http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.asp?p=99846&redir=1 > >> > >>I added a very bad icon to the toolbar.
