I hope you remember my problem with the resized video in kdenlive?!
Here are 2 examples of what I mean.
On the first photo you can see how it should be and on the second one
you can see how it is at the moment with kdenlive!!!
Ive found a solution for my capturing problem with kdenlive (I updated
the dvgrab to a new version).
As you can see is the airplane on the second photo stretched. Its an
anamorphic 16:9 picture, but kdenlive dont resize it back although I
filled in PAL widescreen. The second picture I got from kino. Kino has
no problems with the sizes, but I recognized that the MPEG4 encoding
(ffmpeg) every time interrupts at the half length of the video. What
happened there? I have no idea!
Hope you can help me.

I have no such problem.May be setup your projetc to pal widescreen
(16x9) - I beg if you are german you use PAL?

maybe remove kdenlive then reinstall it...

Maybe MLT, as used by kdenlive, is not detecting the widescreen. That
is the most plausible cause. You can check this yourself by running
'inigo' against the video file. Don't worry if it does not fill the
window or size the window to the video resolution--that's not
important here. What is important is whether it keeps the aspect
ratio. If inigo does not play it properly, then we have to figure
which codec your version of MLT is using. Well, you can do the
following and report your results:
$ inigo avformat:video-file
$ inigo libdv:video-file
libdv was the default in older MLT versions and avformat is the
default since mlt v0.2.4. The above let's you override the default and
explicitly use one.

Probably, it is an incompatibility between your version of Kino and
FFmpeg. It\ has been tricky to trying to manage this.
