For those who may be interested, I've attached a diff of the files I had to modify to make the jythonc ant task actually work for me. Maybe this could get into CVS for the next release? The problems I addressed include: * JythoncAntTask changed directories unexpectedly, polluting my src directory, unlike the javac task. * It was not at all clear how the jythonc compiler was being invoked. * The jythonc compiler bombed out trying to move files it did not create. A major problem I did not address is that the jythonc compiler silently does the wrong thing if the java super class is not, for whatever reason, available. It would be nice if there were some way to to assert that the super class is not a python class and let the compiler bomb out with an apt error message -- maybe with a docstring on the class for example.
