Bugs item #544891, was opened at 2002-04-16 17:45 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112867&aid=544891&group_id=12867 Category: Library Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Steffen Ries (sries) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: problems with socket.py Initial Comment: I found three problems with Lib/socket.py in jython- 2.1: 1. _udpsocket.send() calls self.sendto(), which expects two arguments, but only one is supplied. 2. _udpsocket.__del__() calls self.close(), which does not check whether the socket has already been closed. This causes AttributeError, when the socket object is eventually garbage collected. 3. _tcpsocket.__del__() same problem. See attached diff for fix of the problem ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112867&aid=544891&group_id=12867 |
