I've got a Jython script that runs just fine on the 32-bit OS on my laptop. But on one of our virtual workstations (64-bit, 8GB RAM) it fails quickly with - adam@sandbox64:~> jython XrefrMinimize.jy Traceback (innermost last): File "XrefrMinimize.jy", line 35, in ? Error: Java heap space adam@sandbox64:~> Eh??? Does this make sense to anyone? |

"java -mx512m -cp $CLASSPATH:/usr/share/java/jython.jar org.python.util.jython XrefrMinimize.jy" works on the 64bit box, while "java -mx256m -cp $CLASSPATH:/usr/share/java/jytn.jar org.python.util.jython XrefrMinimize.jy" works on the 32bit box. So just the normal 64bit bloat. Is there a more elegant way of setting such things for jython than running it via the java command? > > I've got a Jython script that runs just fine on the 32-bit OS on my > > laptop.
